Can't invite friends to a wedding

Are any of the people you want to invite supposed to be at work or school at the time of the event?
Or are any of them likely to give birth at that time?
Or other potential conflicts?

Ahh, I never thought about that. Everybody else on the invitee list are family so naturally that gives them an out for work. Summer and Liberty are not only part of the wedding party but I have a mod that gives them an indefinite number of vacation days so that they would be available for all the pre-wedding events. It's currently Thursday in the game and I was going to setup the wedding for the following Friday. I'll bump it back to Saturday, which I should have done anyway, and see if that fixes it. If not I'll use the mod to get the parents there too.

I'll try that all out shortly. I'm in CAS taking care of an oversight. None of the sims in my story have kids or know anybody with kids, so I'm creating some distant relatives with kids to provide a flower pal(s). I'm quickly coming to grips with how complex the new wedding system is with MWS. There are details, on top of details, wrapped up inside of even more details. It's almost as complex as a real wedding.

Last night I discovered there are family get togethers, engagement announcement dinners(I could have used this??‍♀️), bachelorette parties. I even found poses on TSR that were designed for staging wedding dress shopping trips.??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ It goes without saying Liberty's engagement and wedding will go much smoother. So should Summer's, but those two aren't as far along in my mind as Lib and Matteo are. That said Summer already after two nights of passionate fun with Darian already has a want to propose. Girlfriend is in a hurry to catch up.

For Matteo it's just a matter of picking his moment now.

None of those thing worked. I tried scheduling the wedding for a day when nobody had any conflicts and I still can't invite Summer or Liberty's parents. It's just sad that there are three sims on the list of potential guests that none of my sims has ever met, and yet sims they do know can't be extended an invite. I have to get busy, I haven't done anything today, but later I do want to see if there is a mod that can help get around this problem. So frustrating!

It's not mod related. I took the entire folder out and it's still the same group of sims to choose from. If I can't find a mod to work around this I could at least have Summer and Liberty's moms attend by being the entertainer and the officiant. It's so bizarre that there are 4 total strangers and one sim with a negative relationship with Danielle that are on the list. I also tried switching to Londyn and have her do the invites thinking maybe she'd have a different list. No such luck. I tried seeing if Summer and Liberty had a way to invite their parents, and no surprise that didn't work either.

Problem solved. I'm just a doofus. In the backstory for Tartosan Sun, Danielle, Summer, and Liberty have known each other their entire lives. They all grew up in the same neighborhood, so the parents knew each other too. When I created the parents and added them into the story I used ModRel to create all these relationships that had existed for decades prior to the start of the story. In the chaos of all these sims and relationships I made, I lost track of who had and had not done their official introductions. I hadn't taken Danielle around to do the introductions with Liberty and Summer's parents.??‍♀️ I found that oversight when I thought, I'll have Danielle visit Liberty's parents and see if there was a social in the pie menu where she could invite them. As soon as the socials popped up I knew instantly what the whole problem was. I just looked at Danielle's relationship panel and seen where she had friend status with the parents, but the relationship wasn't fully complete.

I hope you guys can get a good chuckle out of this.The pitfalls of creating a huge cast of characters.?

Things like that are bound to happen with a big cast :) I have had a few of those in my main save too.
