Can't Shift-Click on the Mailbox and Get Into Uni?

I'm a tad frustrated. I lost gaming time because I had no clue that you can no longer shift-click on the mailbox and by pass the wait time to get into Uni. I even looked it up again and activated the cheat code. Still it wasn't working. What could I be doing wrong? Or is this nerfed, now, too?

Please, and thank you, in advance. I have to get my Cantrell YAs in and then switch households to add the Golden triplets to the same dorm.
