Can't use pool

Found it. It was the old swim around in pools mod.

I also have a problem with the pools, and a lot of other objects. I just bought the game, no cc or Mods, my sims can't interact with hardly anything! they cant use the pool at all, they cant use the treadmill, corner bathtub, a bar, the piano, or the bookcase. And a handful of things have limited options, like the computer, i can only play games or browse web. and i can't eat leftover from the fridge, or order drinks from a bar, but my sims are able to with their free will.
