Career Rewards-Unlocked them all?

I have unlocked almost all of them in my Not So Berry challenge save (I'm on the last generation now). Unfortunately my game 'forgets' I've done it for the careers that the earlier generations pursued and they're locked again. Every time I want to redecorate I have to unlock them. It's frustrating that the game can't just keep something unlocked permanently once it's been earned.

While I did try to complete all careers at the beginning I simply don't have the time for it anymore. Plus, you have to do it again for each household. It's just way easier to cheat - which I rarely do for played Sims, but if I'm randomly building gameplay unlocks is activated by default so I do use the career rewards.

I have unlocked most, but not quite all of them!

I haven't played some of the careers so of course those are not unlocked. I don't use cheats, or mods, or anything like that as I don't see the point. I like to play the game as it is designed to play - but because of my principles I doubt I will ever unlock everything as there are just some careers I am not fond of. LOl. Also some things I did get unlocked got re-locked when I restarted the game a few times. Like the who active police career - when the game had issues in that career after one of the updates - well I restarted the whole game so I could use that family in a different career that didn't have issues. LOL.

That's okay though as I am not obsessed with unlocking everything anyway.

I cheat-unlocked everything and dish it out when I feel my sims ought to have it. That attitude seeped over to my Sims 2 playing habits, now I cheat-unlock the career rewards there, too, when I can justify it for a given family.

Not without cheats. Though tend to play by the same rules as Luth for that.

I haven't done so yet, but eventually I'll get there.

Working my way to get there...

I would make an effort to unlock them all, if it weren't for the fact that you have to unlock them all with one and the same household and then start all over again when you play a new household. I'm not going to have every household goods through every possible career track. I have the career rewards unlocked automatically with a cheat using mccc.

Not the proper way no. I'm not interested in playing Sims for goals like this, it's not why I play so I have no problem with using a mod to unlock them all.
