I've said before your guides are pretty darn accurate and I recommend them highly. Very, very informative!
My sim has actually caught only one Tilapia and she used it to cook a Gourmet dish. Darn autonomy!

I completed the fishing collection only because I never saw that pond in Magnolia Blossom park (Willow Creek).

As for the Gardening guide our games pretty much played the same way. My Orchid came in the mail after getting all the Space Rocks and completing space missions for getting the Intergalactic Growth Pod.
I do have a question for you though.
Have you noticed with the gardening that the fertilizer isn't lasting as long and decays much faster, the longer you maintain the garden? I've noticed this in my game and I'm not sure if this is a bug as well. Would love the feedback.
