CAS - Random traits gone?

With the June patch we got a button for random traits in CAS. I saw it was there right after, but yesterday it was gone... But, I discovered there is also a randomness button for choosing outfits within a preferred style, which I don't recall having seen before. I don't have and mod affecting traits - no idea if UI Cheat does that, but I got the updated version which works fine.

So - do you still have the random trait feature, or was it removed intentionally?

    Mine's still there... and I have loads of mods/cc including UI cheat.

    Mine's still there. I'd check without mods and see if it's still gone, if so, do a repair game. I suspect a mod is conflicting. (Don't forget to delete the localthumbcache file)

    Thanks, I can't really think of any mod to check, and I hardly have any cc in cas. Hm, I have a solid color CAS background, maybe that's it.

    I can live without that randomize button, because I run a routine where some of parents traits will be passed on, but now I wonder if anything else is missing in CAS also, so I better trace the problem anyway.

    Were you creating a new sim or editing a sim that was already made?

    Oh, is there a difference? I created a new household member to an existing household. Not a brand new household.
    I'll check with a brand new household right away!

    EDIT: Brand new household, still no randomizing dice.
