I always choose vampire, give them gothic/darkness style, has normal appearances but skin tone is pale grey when regular form, lean body shape. Males always has long or alternative hair style, such as one's feminine bob cut(BTW I found many adult male characters who has this hair style in animes are powerful and formidable)
