CAS-How many sims?

I currently have 12 sims and when I go into inventory, I lose sims and when come out of CAS those sims aren't in my house..HELP please

  • 8 sims is the maximum supported number of sims per household. Cats and digs count as sims.

    If you raise the maximum number of sims with MCCC, that unfortunately doesn't change how many sims CAS can handle. Try moving four of your twelve into different households when you want to change their outfits, and move them back in with cheats (teestingcheats true -> shift click on sims -> add to household).

  • I believe, also, that there is a way to take just the extra Sims, one at a time into a CAS via MCCC. But, yeah, it's tricky once you go over the allotted maximum of 8. Sure wish EA would make this change.
  • Maybe something related to core game code structure regardless of version. The household limit has been 8 since the Simian earth cooled.
