Caterers

I like this idea. And instead of the caterer spamming food (over making food for guests), We could request what meals we want for guest for the type of party our sims have,

Maybe they could let us set a menu for an event like you can for Dine Out restaurants?

thats an awesome idea. one of the events has a goal for everyone to eat roast chicken. if your not level 10 you cant cook it but the caterer should however they wont do it themselves. this would be amazing coz we could, based on the time select a 5 course meal and as the topic mentioned choose the cake.

I'm also wondering if it would be too much to select the quantity of a dish as well. So for example, if you have a large party you might want two of the same cake. Or perhaps you only want a smaller size of a dish. Something like that?

So selecting a menu would be great to help you be specific with what you want and the quantity as well.
