(Cats & Dogs) Can you create pets to be adopted?

To elaborate: Can I go into CAS, create a household full of just pets, and somehow make it accessible in the "population bin" (dunno what to call it, but it's how a couple of my CAS sims ended up a...

Just take your sim into CAS the same you would to change their outfits and just add the cat you want. No cheats needed.

Would it add funds to the house? Because I want to avoid that


No. I've used this way before and it doesn't add funds at all. I think that only happens if you use Manage Households.
