I've had no issues whatsoever, my puppy eats and sleeps and my sim is currently training her to use the potty outside.
the whole 'not being able to control the pet' is what pulled me in.
it's as realistic as it gets and for simmers complaining about how 'unrealistic' this sims game is (ironic) I'd think that would appeal to them.
But to each their own.
I'm enjoying the pack.
See that's another thing, what's the point of controlling pets and then being able to train them? Why am I wasting time to train my pets to do certain things when I can just skip that and control them to go outside and press a interaction for them to do it. There are already enough features in game that make it so you have to "imagine" it happening as you control them. Again, I understand why controlling them is a 'want', but it would just make training them useless.
I mean the same could have been said for toddlers in this point? What's the point in having the parent to teach them to learn things when I can just sit there and control or command them to learn on their own.
