You' be supporting said creator less you actually do contribute to things like their patreon or otherwise. Also, not everyone is a PC player or uses CC, so having official items in game like this is always a plus. Less worry of something with CC breaking and waiting for the creator to fix it or the community. Less CC I have to use the better as I've been chucking things I no longer need myself.
