Celebrating the Happy End

As expected, my sims dine out or have drinks most often after a harrowing adventure.

But I was surprised that "Kiss" and "Family time" were the second and third most common motives. I don't consider myself a family player.

How about all the above. :p

Pick another aspiration, skill, career or Uni degree, etc. ? I'm on a quest to get it all done.

After my Sims fought their way through the jungle and found the secret treasure and also after they defeated the dangerous Motherplant, they spend the entire next day in the Spa, getting massages and relax in the hottub. In the evening they went into a local restaurant and enjoyed a yummy selvadorian or "strange" meal, hehe! After all the adventures they deserve to be pampered. I spoil my Sims, and I love it! :)

Other was also a possibility but I chose kiss or woohoo because my couples do everything together and they're all madly in love. When I think about a bit more, it's really likely that there would be gorgeous scenery as a backdrop to the kiss.

I was going to choose Kiss, but really most of my stories end with family, be they birth families, chosen families or new families (which is where the kissing comes in) coming together...

After I finish my goal with a particular Sim, they then have kids so I can pick my heir to play with next. Even if a Sim's goal is raising a successful family, I always have them have another kid to be my heir. The other kids are just part of the goal. lol

Technically it's "all of the above" for me too, every option on the poll has occured in my game. But some are more common then others for my sims. I guess because I enjoy dining out (or just eating) a lot irl, so my gameplay choices would reflect that.

@Lenny_Ogg It doesn't have to be the big Happy End, chapter conclusions are perfectly fine! From the poll options I see "Eat", "Scenery" and "Music" in your screenshots.

@mrs_starkey Your sims are lucky! Shoot, I totally didn't think of "Spa time/Me time" as an option. Should probably have used that in place of the more niche "Give a speech".

@simgirl1010 Poor sims, so their only breather is five seconds in the aspiration picker? (Nah, I refuse to believe that. I'm pretty sure they get plenty of little nice moments during their workload.)

@luciusstorm When I think of it some more, family does play a role in my stories, too. I'm just not into the nurturing/raising aspect.

@lisamwitt That "extra" kid is probably the luckiest. Whenever I attempted a legacy, my poor heir was overworked with skilling and aspiration goals, while the spares could enjoy their life.

@EnkiSchmidt absolutely. ? Lots of family activities and fun while working on those aspirations.

My sims don't really celebrate but if they need something they might treat themselves to something nice, like a relaxing bath after finishing a jungle expedition or they might buy a round of drinks at the bar if they manage to earn a small fortune in relics. :)
