Just so you know the meet and greet award goes into your household inventory, not the personal inventory. I never accepted it or anything. It just appears there.. kind of like the date awards.
I wish they wouldn't do that, but thanks for the heads up. They could easily fix this problem if they would only allow our Sims to place things in their own inventory at will. I liked being able to drag things, for instance, into my Sims' inventories in Sims3. Now, I have to purchase the things once they move out. Face/palm.
