Cemeteries, what would you like to see added to them if they were to bring them back?

It would be great to have funerals and to be able to just visit the graves of loved ones, maybe bring flowers now that we have the florist station with Seasons.
I like your idea about exploring crypts and mausoleums :)

I'd love this! I'd like to see a gravedigger NPC who's always skulking about, digging his graves and acting weird. I'd also like some old-fashioned funeral attire with the top hats with the long sashes that hang off, and Victorian mourning gowns. It would be really cool to have more gravestones and crypts and coffins and urns too. And maybe a new type of large picture of the person who passed away, that can be propped onto an easel or mantel with flowers around it, to honor the deceased. Maybe there could be a way for Vampires to actually sleep in a buried grave. Also, some new mourning animations would be nice, Sims could kneel by the graves and cry. There could be a new podium for funerals where Sims could go up and "share memories". Maybe there could also be a special "comfort" interaction between Sims. A funeral could even be an event like parties and holidays where certain things must be accomplished, like "pay respects", "place flowers", "comfort someone", and "mourn. Maybe evil Sims could "speak ill of the dead" and dance on graves. And if the funeral goes really well, the ghost pays a benevolent visit, or if it goes extra badly, the ghost comes back to scare people and get revenge. There could even be new dishes to prepare called "comfort food".

If it were to come in a Game Pack, there could be a variety of cultural funeral rites and buriel practices, like mummification! <3

This would be cool! But I feel like EA steers away from really depressing things like that. Sure they have vampires, but digging graves is probably a little darker than what they want. It's kind of the same reason kids can't die or pregnant sims can't die, I think they have a line they try to stay in between. But that's just from personal observation, it would still be neat to have more stuff like that!

Kids can die in The Sims 4.

I agree, they do have a tendency to keep the content on the safe or silly side, so many of my suggestions would be very unlikely to ever be considered.

I really wish they would release a subset series of DLC that catered to a more mature customer base. It could have a higher ESRB rating and be locked behind an age restriction. But that would never happen. :(

If we're to have cemetery lot types, it would be nice to have more lots or worlds in the game to make room.

I miss that mausoleum in The Sims 3 where unplayable sims would end up when they died. I'd love that for The Sims 4. Then I wouldn't be as nervous to play with aging on for every sims in the game. I hate when someone dies and you can't access their tombstones :pensive:

Give us a choice of headstones -- you can have the simple ones we have now, or more elaborate ones, maybe with s Plumbob on top, for wealthier Sims.

Funeral services, a mausoleum to collect the deceased headstones. The game needs mega variety with headstones. I don’t like the one we have now very much, and the urn is wayyyyy too extravagant for me. A regular person isn’t going to be stored in an ornate golden urn that’s as large as a pumpkin.
