Changing career branch

Gone through several careers so far, all of them set me to level 9 of the branch I choose, doesn't seem like a bug. I was hoping to unlock all the content, but that doesn't seem possible currently. Also there's at least one aspiration you're unable to complete if you pick the "wrong" branch, Mixology Aspiration requires you go Mixology branch, but the Cooking Aspiration has no such requirement, meaning if you want to complete both, you have to go Mixology branch. Odd that they're making the game more and more restricting... But yeah, I'm hoping it's bugs, not features, and that it will be fixed eventually.
