- Does anyone here know how to unlock or get these clown outfits in my cas? I’ve seen some people been able to do it and also unlock more clown face paint along with it. They are base game and not cc so how do I get it?? https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/827815/sim-in-clown-suit
- Waxintegral5 years agoSeasoned AceEvery time one of my Sims gets a promotion at work or completes an aspiration level I get them a new outfit in one of the 5 slots per category. That way, when they have a shower or a bath I don't know what outfit they'll choose to wear so it adds variety to their look.

I used to have them have the same clothes all the time, but usually did use all 5 outfits. Ever since we got seasons, I tend to change my sims' outfits at the start of every season. But they usually only have one outfit per category now.
they can have more than one outfit per category?! glad that's not mandatory, but then I hate having to worry about what they are wearing for the weather with seasons. ? I would just have one outfit if I could. changing clothes is such a hassle.
They can have 5 per category. When you pick the category in CAS there's a tiny arrow above the category icons and you click on it and it lets you add more outfits - Simmerville5 years agoLegendHa! Most of my sims go through all their adult life (from YA to death) wearing the same clothes!!! I just forget to change them, and I also think it's easierto recognize my sims if they wear the same outfits. I might create 2 alternative everyday outfits for them though, pretending one is for mild days (t-shirt) and one for chilly days (sweater).
I know it sounds quite boring... - bookmaster3255 years agoSeasoned AceUgh, the little bleeps are lucky to get one from me on their birthdays or coming into the household (and that's usually to change them out of something atrocious.LOL) It takes me forever and a year. Alleluia for styled looks (for a starting point).

- mercuryfoam5 years agoSeasoned AceI only found out about this feature recently. I plan to max out all 5 outfits for my next gameplay with a variety of clothing, but in the mean time, I find it so handy for storytelling. I'd load up the same outfit in all 5 slots and add/remove items as the story requires. Got hit? Add band aid in 2nd outfit. Add shopping bags in 3rd outfit. Need to waddle legs in pond? Remove shoes in 4th outfit. Sooo handy!
- DoloresGrey5 years agoSeasoned AceI change it once in a while. I usually do some minor changes or add an outfit to every member of a household once somebody ages up.

To be very honest, this is what I do also :D Adding in full renovation on vampire dark form and mermaid form, because yikes....those are horrible. - Nindigo795 years agoSeasoned AceI usually change them every so often. Same with house interior. It quickly gets stale otherwise - to me at least.
