Changing windows in apartments

I think you can only change the windows if they are on the balcony. Other than that, you're stuck with them as they are.

You can only do it on penthouses I think.

Haven't tried it but I've seen it done.

I fiddled around with this mod yesterday. It blew me away, I didn’t try it on windows but I did move a few objects into the public space and WOW!! Maxis needs to get on it because modders have again done something more innovative than the actual studio has in a really long time. Would not surprise me to never see this functionality legitimately added to the game, but the mod is a game changer for sure.

How does it work??
