Lou noticed as soon as his friend walked over that there was something on his mind.
"You know if you don't want to talk to me I can grab Alpha Rory." he said, only addressing her properly when thinking a packmate needed her, Wolfgang shook his head.
"I have to talk to her but what I need is to work up the nerve."
"Oh is this about how you ended your rampage, your first turn?"
He tensed.
"You guys know about that?"
"Of course, she notices everything but it's part of life it's good with us you know."
"Well alright then, not that one."
Before he could ask Rory came out and beckoned Wolfgang over to her, normally she might join in and spend time with them but if this baby was kicking her backside she didn't know what would.

"Uh well...you know you look pretty today."
"I am so not the type you can butter up, out with it." she teased, more affectionately than she probably meant she didn't like the nerves she sensed around him they were a family he should be fine with her shouldn't he?
"It's just, I know we're expanding the family.."
"Is this about that girl cause you recruiting someone works fine by me."
"No, okay almost but mostly it's my new....son."
She gave him a look.
"You had a baby wit..."
"No no no no, don't go there I took him in he was wandering the streets his 'house' was barely that so he couldn't just take off."
"Ok...please tell you didn't pupnab someone..." she said wearily.
"It burnt down, his home was an old orphanage that burnt down, maybe he caused it maybe he didn't but it didn't feel right to turn him away."
She chewed on her lip, she could always tell when her packmates lied to her and she knew he spoke the truth the kid had to go somewhere and her mate was ridiculously caring it only burned her that he wasn't here.

"So you didn't bring him because after that he'd be afraid of me, what's the matter with you?"
He grinned nervously realizing Lou was hiding, the nerve.
"Of course not babe, it's just a lot to take in and he insisted he wanted to go to school not sure how long it's been since he's seen another kid."
"Sure fine, but bring him by if you're going to claim him that makes me his mother doesn't it or did you need me to stay out of it?" honestly she wasn't sure what bothered her more. They were a tight group even now and he ought to be jumping for joy at the thought of making a home for a lost child with them . She also was at least 20% sure part of it was just a teeny bit pregnancy brain but she'd always thought that was a myth.
She shook her head as her gaze softened.
"Bring him by soon luv."
"I will." he said softly.

She couldn't help but entertain herself freely after...yep pregnancy brain...I think.
"Oh and go talk to your trainee!"
Greta was fairly easy to find, Wolfgang felt a natural unease there, he walked right past her grandmother, her father didn't acknowledge him she was just as alone as he had been at his home with twice the money. He sighed heavily hoping it was for the best even if he felt guilty, who didn't care about anyone just walking in and heading upstairs?

"I just came to check on you."
"That's rich after I almost died from starvation? Yeah whatever."
He winced a bit it had been difficult changing on his own too but it had been for the best...at least he thought so.
