Cheat codes for killing sims not working

I am able to enable cheat codes and the cheats work for everything else but not for killing sims. For example, I put in: sims.add_buff buff_death_elderexhaustion_warning and nothing happens. A...

Anything to help! Fun fact; cheats like the one you tried to use only exist for development purposes but they let us use them most of the time.
