Cheat or Mod to cheat skills for NPC
I'm really tired of all my sims having "wrench" or "juice on the rocks" or "sparkling water" as their favorite drinks and what they usually order. And it's because all these NPC's that the game genera...

So, I've just tested a few things out in a new game.
It seems that the debug cheat for promoting the career is bugged in that it will promote the active sim in their career rather than the target sim.
However, when it comes to the skill cheat, even though it shows the name and picture of the active sim, only the target sim's skills should be affected. That's what happens in my game, at least. Unfortunately I'm not really sure why it wouldn't be working when you try to do it. You might have to ask one of those MCCC experts who frequents the forums.
on a side note, the game seems to automatically give bartenders a mixology level somewhere between 5 and 7, at least in my game (I only looked at 3 of them)
