Cas.fulleditmode only lets me change the sims weight. It doesn't work to change relashionships:(

I've tried several, including good ol' cas.fulleditmode, which usually is what I use for this, but it's no longer working? More complicated cheats I found are also not working. Nothing will let me change the family relationship cause it's "pre-existing". I do NOT want to create a whole new save or duplicate the household or anything like that, as I'm playing a lot of inter-connected households and that would lose those relationships as well.
I don't know why full edit mode isn't working, but in the meantime, is there a quick and easy way change a family relationship?
