Check for emotional auras?

Its hard to work out what has an aura, there needs to be some identifier when in build mode for instance. You can easily end up with a lot of emotional objects and not know which is which . The one causing an issue in my sims house was the bookcase that came with one of the careers. Took me ages to work it out.

Every item has the ability to disable their auras,as of now you will have to search manually the items.

In the future EA will add the feature of knowing what kind of aura each special items provides,meanwhile manual search is your only option.

Post a screenshot of your kitchen and ill help you find the item.

Ok, I sent a sim to change clothes and all is well again. Something must have just been glitched. I still wish there was a way to check and/or disable the auras.

Oh and I tried to share a post with pictures, but it went into a moderation queue. I imagine it will show up later.

This is a nightmare, there's some energizing decor somewhere in my sim's room and I can't find it! Maybe they could add a tooltip to the emotion so it says "Energizing Decor (From -item name- )"

I thought objects with auras do not work unless you enable them. From experiences, unless they are turned on they don't give off an aura. Every object that has an aura has it noted in the description in the buy catalog. Although some say the roses are romantic/flirty but with my experience in the game it is not so. When the object is placed it will give you the option to enable the aura when clicked. It is my understanding that these objects are normal until their auras are turned on by the player.

Look for the blob of clay...I posted about the exact same problem a while ago. That thing is devious.

Ugh! It was indeed the blob of clay and I hate how drawn they are towards fiddling with it! Thank you for this! I realize this is an old post but it helped as I could not figure out what was causing the "focusing decor" moodlet.

I was tearing my hair out first time it happened to me :)

I now have just one sim that I allow to have that clay blob and it is my stay at home artist. I am quite happy to let that sim choose his mood with it.

I use the clay ball often to build inspiration moodlet in my artists. Does it energise now? That would be annoying.
