I like the town center.
This is good news. I like her builds and am happy she finally got a chance to build for an EP. So far the only build of her was the crane build in eco lifestyle, which was a rework of a build she did for the sparked challenge. - JemmaTheSimmer2 years agoNew AceI'm actually pleasantly surprised, mostly because my expectations were so low as I am getting frustrated with all these USA based worlds recently (was very disappointed in both Copperdale and San Sequoia). However, it looks better than the last two as including native American representation makes it much better and more diverse, plus we have so few desert worlds it makes a nice change at least.
It is a bit similar to strangerville, but it is nice to have a non strange desert world for normal gameplay. I've said before I'd like a Newcrest for Oasis Springs and this kind of fits that.
I'm also hoping that there aren't too many shells in the ranch area, so I can change the style and add in some South American inspired ranches too without it being too out of place. - DarkLady27882 years agoSeasoned VeteranThere was also a ghost foal that went about at night in ts3 pets can’t remember the family’s name but they had a fire in their barn and the foal died it also said in the family description that the had a hard time with their horses

Doctor Ashley, Ninni, Chrissie and Simproved made 3 lots each.

So we'll have at least 12 lots, more if we get those empty spots. But considering 12 has been the magic number for the past few years, I expect that to be the number of lots we get in this pack.
So if Dr. Ashley made that lot where you can have barrel races and stuff, I’m wondering if that means we will actually be able to enter the building after all…… it gives me some hope! And if there are 12 lots that were made in this pack, and they normally have some open lots, I’m thinking there might be 3 lots open. I’m sure we will see soon, i sure hope that we get to see a world map somewhere soon too.
I’m not one that was that gung ho for horses in the beginning, but I have to say, I think I’m really going to enjoy this pack. I love the western world, I like that native stuff is going to be included. I hope we are able to ride horses around other neighborhoods in other packs.too. Someone mentioned that there was water. I hope our sims can swim in it. I do hope that stray horses are kept to this town and neighborhoods in this pack, but would love to see lot traits where we could have horses with riders and another trait where we could have stray horses hanging out, like the 2 lot traits in cats and dogs, at any lot including lots ouside of this world. I hope we can have horses in other worlds too, that they are not limited to this world, I can easily see horses in parts of Windenburg, Brindleton Bay, Oasis Springs, San Sequoia, Glimmer Brook, and even vacation world like Granite Falls and Silvadorado. I also like the idea that we are going to have a dance hall, I wonder what the difference is going to be from nightclubs, I’m assuming there will be music, I guess just not a DJ booth. I remember seeing someone playing a piano. I wonder if we can also have someone play a guitar for people to dance to. Lots of questions, lol, but I am really quite excited for horses now. - sclevenger082 years agoSeasoned Hotshot

I forgot about that. The Sims 3 lore was so amazing. I miss that kind of detail in 4. "MichelleW;c-18280005" wrote:

The bigger world than usual is the only comfort for me to buy this overpriced GP.

Tell me why this is an EP and not a GP? I'm not a horse enthusiast, this seems very niche for an EP. If the world is amazing I will buy it at launch, otherwise I will probably wait for a sale so I'm paying something closer to a GP.
It's probably an EP because the horses + riding them takes a LOT of development and animation. If it were a GP, you'd likely be getting literally just that, and nothing else to flesh it out at all.- To me, Oasis Springs feels like Palm Springs. Chestnut Ridge feels more like Montana or Wyoming. I don't think it's accurate to label it as just another "desert" world, at least from what we've seen so far.

Almost all the EP's are niche though. EP vs. GP is determined by how much is in the pack, not the theme. - logionX2 years agoLegendI like desert worlds so I think I will like the world.
One thing I did notice in the trailer is that the world looked more green that I expected, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing.
I'm a bit skeptical about the town though, they did not really show a lot of the town, so I'm worried that it will feel a bit deserted, I wonder if they will add unique npc's like they had in cottage living that are walking around and using their horses. - JestTru2 years agoSeasoned AceThe world looks like Appaloosa Plains 2.0...
I loved that world so this looks amazing and can't wait to see more. - barisaxy2 years agoNew AceI'm not big on desert worlds. Having the full experience of seasons is so vital to me. I'll only ever have my sims visit this world like every other world that doesn't have seasons. I'm glad that the horses, sheep and goats aren't tied to the world.
