If you move and keep all the furniture, any plants in household inventory that hadn't been harvested will have the harvested produce separately (note: if you have a money tree that's a great way to get more seeds, especially if you want to have some to give your kids when they move out). Maybe same thing happens with chickens as well.
Like I said in the post, no I didn't move. I moved before I started the farm in Henford.
