Both of my sims are in the freelance crafter career but their toddler got a phone call saying that he needs to pick up gigs. The TODDLER got the call! Must be a bug but I laughed hard.

They miss that sometimes, one of my teen sims got a job offer because of her good reputation. I accepted and she actually got the job, but she missed school every time she went.
