Children cannot repair appliances, so everything that needs to be repaired can only be replaced. The jungle adventures table does not need to be repaired. So far my dumpster has not been knocked over, and I have the added gameplay of dumpster diving. Not being able to pick up the trashcan got old fast.
I am not sure how I will maintain the video station. Is there a public video station anywhere? It would be expensive to keep replacing it. And it would use too much energy to keep at no bills. I cannot pay the bills, so anytime I use enough utilities to get a bill, they get turned off and things get repossessed to pay the bills.
If you bring the child into cas to edit it, you are forced to add an adult again. You can just remove the adult, but I am not sure where they go and I am afraid to messing up the game somehow. So I think it is important to have your child sim exactly how you want them.
I started over from scratch now that I have some idea of how this works. I am almost caught up to where I left off in the last save. I only have one removed adult and he has been showing up at festivals without any significant relationship to the child sim. He was just in the household and just read her the books before I removed him.
I think we can cross stitch. The birds have been giving the sim cross stitch stuff. I have not had time to try this yet. I did knit an orange beanie to give as a gift to the Moonwood Mills librarian. I forget his name. Wolfgang?
I think we might be able to do a modified rabbit challenge.

We can definitely acquire vampire skill and I am not sure how we can use that. I don't have satisfaction points to waste, but I wonder if we can do anything with the paranormal license.
I was struggling to get the focus skill to complete the homework milestone. I got it at the Foxbury cafeteria, studying alongside the students that were studying for a test. I was surprised how much that the university is part of my gameplay. I've been getting food at the stall at the highschool football and cheerleading events, but have not seen how much of the school that I can use at other times.
I use the TV in the Glimmerbrook Bar for events that need a TV, but I cannot eat there.
I wish the game makers would make just a few changes so that child sims could ask adults to do more for them. It would not require any new animations. I think a lot of people would like to play a runaway child rags to riches story.
Here are some helpful videos that I have watched. Does anyone know of any others?
