Only babies and toddlers are immune to fires, and that's because of a woman who died in a fire and her spirit protects them. Its mentioned in a statue description in sims 2

@Chelseadude182, I'm doing the 100 baby challenge so I had to keep going on ;u; I was able to bring her back! But sadly, she won't count towards my 100 kids. Fun fact: She's father winters kiddo lol.
