I haven't tested this in my game, but I also hope it is a bug that will be fixed soon. I am ridiculously attached to my sims, but sometimes for storytelling purposes I want options like this to be available. Child sims already have few death types (I'll actually have to use cheats to get the sort of child ghost I want in one of my stories). As others have commented, I do not feel that what someone enjoys in a game (or fiction) has any reflection on their true character in the real world. I've always enjoyed dark stories and horror. I wouldn't want any of it in reality of course, not even my beloved vampires. Or maybe I'm just evil. :D Nah, I know I'm a big softie, that's probably why I like all that creepy stuff. I can understand though why some people don't like this or want in their game. For me it's just nice to have it as an option so everyone is happy. Why take options away? TS4 could do with a bit more bite and dangerous stuff if you ask me. >:)
