Honestly, they are both terrible in gameplay but if I had to pick one definitely Get Together. At least it adds something tool/gameplay wise, CL is a disgrace.
This is exactly how i feel about Outdoor Retreat :)
Everybody's different. I LOVE CL. I LOVE the world, it is the first city world in the Sims that feels genine. I love the people... Quite frankly most of my households I play will end up living in San Mushino eventually. All other worlds are just so boring in comparison.
Bridgeport felt like a city to me and the sims there weren't scripted to do this or that, they were (or felt) free. Everything in CL is refined to one world and that's what bothers me. If it were a vacation place I wouldn't mind such restrictions that much but it is not. I have huge problems with it because it doesn't reflect how content in the sims should be made.
Not to mention the price point doesn't reflect it's actual functionality. It's basically a new skin for the game with one or two new objects. And a single skill that makes 0 sense in that pack. But even some GP's have more than one skill.
I think it's cool that you like it though, but I wouldn't burn my money on it a second time. Even if it was on half the price again.
