Now that we have reached the last month of the current road map, what do you think is coming next? When do you think we will see the next roadmap and what do you think will be on it?
I'm thinking mid January for the next roadmap. As far as what is on it, I think we will finally see the fairy GP, lots of bug fixes, and the next set of creator kits.
I think the Big Bug Patch is coming this month. We're overdue it's supposed to be 2 months. Last one was in September so it will be 3 months this month.
As for Quarter 1 I'm expecting a Stuffpack,An Expansion and 2 Kits. The Kits will probably be Creator Kits. I'm hoping the Expansion will be on Hotels.
The Roadmap could get announced in Early January when the Sims Team gets back from the long Christmas and New Year's holiday.
I'm thinking a big bug fix alongside this new Cozy Celebrations event for December and then a road map in early to mid-January to cover January-March 2025. Since February is the big 25 year anniversary of the Sims franchise, we could expect something major. I'm hoping Quarter 1 is filled with 2 kits and a GP. There were basically no hints in the Sims 4 Life & Death EP other than the standard (fairies, cars, etc).
I am expecting event after event, loads of kits and if we are lucky a stuff pack.
What I really would like is a fairy GP or a GP/SP with pet dragons.
Oh I totally forgot about the 25th anniversary. After the let down that was the 10 year anniversary for sims 4, I think I blocked it from my brain. I'm definitely hoping for something great.
A hotels EP... that tops my wish list. I would be surprised to see one so soon after L&D but it wouldn't be the first time they released EPs close together.
Didn’t they say there’d be a Behind the Sims early in the new year? I’m expecting the roadmap early to mid Jan with Behind the Sims as a main feature, with almost certainly some kits and maybe an SP. I don’t think there’ll be an EP or GP — I think we might get an EP later in the year but we’ll get hints about it in Behind the Sims. And who know if/when we’ll ever get another GP.
The next EP will provide be in March or April still Quarter 1. We got Life and Death not long after Lovestruck.
The return of Gamepacks would be good.
I'm curious to see what they made of the poll results - you know, the poll asking for our opinions on various pack themes, like Cyberpunk or 80s? I wonder if they're already working on anything from that.
