Ciudad World Discussion

This confused and worried me too, because I barely touch Tomarang because of the way messing with residential rentals has screwed up save games for me. I don't want that lot type in any other world, because then I'm probably going to avoid that lot (or maybe even the world). 

Hoping it's just a regular rental (likely, given RR are a feature from For Rent and they'd have to include all the coding in this pack to make it work).

Personally I wish that they would put these rabbithole buildings on actual lots. I know it would seem like a waste of a lot to some players, but for me having to load a nearby lot to access these buildings - rather than being able to travel directly - comes with problems. Not knowing which lot to load, reduced number of simmers using the rabbitholes because they're using the lot, etc.

I don't think they'll change it, but maybe there's someplace that the developers could hear the suggestion of a map icon for rabbitholes and include them? Or include them in the neighborhood text? 

Doesn't look like there are any large lots like a 64x64 or a 50x40. I also wish we had some more apartments in the most built up district, not just penthouses.

Oh well, I'll probably get the pack because there's other stuff that I do like about it, but I'm a little underwhelmed by the world currently.

No because then you couldn't access the rabbithole without loading screen
the only thing thats good about rabbithole is that I don't need to go through loading screen to use it
if it was actual lot I would remove the rabbithole and build actual building = rabbithole is useless

also we do have the rabbitholes in debug if you really wanted to put those on a lot

Same! The trails also make the worlds feel way more full when I play with them because my sim is like touring it on their own and actively stopping to take breaks and stuff! Would be so cute if for this world there was an option for sims to walk a park trail while holding hands!

Personally I would take a loading screen over empty rabbitholes that no sims are using because they're drawn to other objects on the lot I had to load. Or not having sims because the nearest lot is a residence where 8 sims live and they're taking up half of the zone sim quota.

I never use the theme park in Copperdale because it's practically a ghost town. Not having a loading screen isn't fixing that for me.

Penthouse lots from previous packs can be changed to whatever lot type you want, except for residential rentals (for rent). I have a vacation rental on a penthouse lot in San mychuno and it works fine.
