I'm not 100% sure, but I suspect that you need another sim that has started the singing skill. I went on a date to the karaoke bar once and there was an option to "Sing Duet" but I noticed that the sim I was on the date with wasn't an option to sing with and the only sims that showed up were ones I had seen singing earlier. I haven't tested this theory fully, just a thought. Curious if anyone else has experienced this?

I did notice that in the festival spaces there is a "Sit and Try Together" option when you have other sims in your group. Not sure if you would have to add them to the group before you see that option?
