I am sorry that you are having problems seeing a protester. I hope that you will soon be able to locate one. Perhaps come completely out of the game, then go back in again and see if that helps. If you continue to have issues, you may need to have one of your sims join the political career, then have then start a protest. Your other sim can then donate to them.
Are you sure we can donate to a Sim in your household? I specifically choosed for my new adult daughter the Political Career so I can fullfill my Aspiration City Native... I never had that option to donate to her while she's protesting. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Does my daughter needs to be at a specific level? Or outside of the apartment?
Hello
I haven't tested it myself. There was another simmer who was finding it hard to find a protester, and they posted that they had their family member join the career so as they could donate.
I will also quote a workaround that NZsimmr suggested on a different thread. You could adapt it to use for your sim
Just discovered how to do this... start a protest, click on a sim nearby and under the "Political Career" interactions under 'Friendly" ask them to Join In Protest. Once they have joined in, cancel the protest on your sim and then click the other sim who is still protesting... now the option to 'Donate To Protestor' will be available under the Friendly interactions. :)
