When I have a sim in the Social Media career it says I need to create a social media profile on the computer. But I don't have that option at all on my pc?? I'm really lost. I've looked in every option branch. I don't have it.
Hello @WishKnox
Try clicking " social networking " then click " start a social media profile ".
thank you but i dont have "social networking" option when i click on the computer :(
Hello
Try selling the computer and buying a new one, then see if the option appears then.
If you are still having issues after buying a new computer, move your mods folder to the desktop and see if the issue remains.
i sold the computer and bought a new one, the option still did not show for my sim in the career. then i tried quitting the job, then getting the job back, and the option still didn't show. dont know why its just me... other people on this forum are talking about it like as if its working for them..
Hello
I checked in my game, and I have the Social networking -start a social media profile option on my computer.
I am sorry that you are having this issue.
Did you try moving your mods folder to the desktop and testing to see if the issue remains?
Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
If you still have issues, try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or "options" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder .
