That leaves the random lavish gourmet meals that roommates sometimes conjure from what seems like somewhere in the shower and bathroom in the dorm. It's all very confusing.
The cafeterias in the commons are supposed to open 3 times in the day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You must have miraculously missed all these times. And while you can't place stoves in dorms, you can place the cafeteria station and someone will attend it from 7am-11pm.
I missed it initially because I was looking for an actual cafeteria looking room.
The "cafeteria" from what I've found is literally just a buffet-style "steam table" thing and I had no idea what it was until I clicked on it.
