I had the same issue until I realized you HAVE to customize the outfits for every single age group whether they are in your club or not and then they all put it on. However my club leader doesn't seem to be wearing the club outfits but I actually don't mind this because I feel the leader should stand out anyway.
My adults only club allows them to change into their club outfits without setting child outfits.
The latest patch fixed issues with cc and club outfits. :)
Fair enough! I got the expansion only a few days ago anyway so I clearly missed out on the early issues.
