I recently made a club for Aliens thinking that perhaps the Aliens without SimRays needed to use their Alien powers more - like: Analyze Personality - but this has not given them SimRays. They had Alien powers as children and teens, so being in a club has not "given" them any powers they did not originally have.
The Alien Sims with SimRays have been in my game longer and I have seen them around the game using their powers autonomously. I don't think I ever payed much attention to this until I realized some of my Aliens did not have SimRays. Maybe they need more Mischief skills.
Confusing.
