My sims tend to have twins in spite of my never buying the reward trait or living on a ley line. I can't stand it because I prefer to avoid playing kids so when I let my sim have one, I only want ONE! :p I have to do their hair and clothes completely different. Like, one will have long hair and one very short. And I even color code all their wardrobe so I can identify them by which one is wearing blue and which one is wearing yellow or some such. It is so obnoxious.
ETA: However, for story purposes, I could totally get behind a love interest not being able to tell and it causing drama. LOL
