Thanks for all the tips and advice! This discussion has been really helpful to me.

It sounds like as long as I turn off autonomous voting on NAPs immediately after installing the pack, it will be fine. So, I think I will probably buy the pack. Hopefully the sale lasts a few more days because I still need to update my game and mods, which I won't have time for until after Christmas.
