Consistency about reactions

For that we need fear emotion.

Sims are different and don't always react the same. In other threads, it is lamented that Sims are too indistinct from each other. Now, diversity is an issue? :/

I agree, their behaviour is not consistent. Although I’ve never even seen fear at the skeletons, they make my sims playful. :|

A little consistency would be nice.

Heck, they are more scared of nudity than of vampires.

Did said vampire have permission? Because Sims are pretty cool with that. When a vampire doesn't have permission, that's when they get shocked and appalled.

I thought people hated how sims react to everything the same way.

^^^ Pretty much this. Especially if said Sim hasn't had experience with Vampires before -- which seems to be the case.

Plus, the nudity thing is too true, OP. Too true. IIRC, during the live stream, a Vamp fed on Sim in full view in a public park. Another Sim strolled right by with the usual insipid smile on her face. Totally no reaction.

It turned me right off.

Not only had she no experience with vampires. Her DAUGHTER suddenly turned into a bat. In front of her. Then turned back. Then drank the blood of her girlfriend in front of her.
No reaction. At all.

But then we all remember the "Oh NO! It's a SIMBOT! The HORRORRRRR!!" thing in Sims 3, which they still got all the time despite being MARRIED to said Simbot.

When personalities are concerned, yes, we do want diversity and uniqueness. That doesn’t seem to be the case here though. If the sim being afraid of a skeleton was a coward and the one not blinkng an eye about the vampire was brave, thén it makes sense.
