cooking at a friends house

Well for my story it didn't make sense and that's why I was saying "what were the devs thinking?". He's his best friend and he wanted my sim to cook for the club at his house. And honestly, I have some close friends in real life where they wouldn't even think twice if I came over and started cooking.

But yes, of course, it's unacceptable if it's a stranger or acquaintance.

My visiting friends or family members are of course welcome to use basically anything I own, including my computer if they need to. I rarely have visitors, but the few I get I am very close with (siblings/BFF), so I have no problems with sharing my stuff. My house is theirs, basically.

Of course that goes for my sims friends too. I don't let them invite strangers/aquaintances to come inside their home (I'm looking at YOU, random Saturday afternoon visitor). I lock the doors to any room with a computer, but otherwise friends/family can do whatever.

Did they fix something with autonomous TV usage? My sims used to watch TV a lot autonomously but lately, they haven't been doing it at all. But they are constantly going to the computer doing the same thing...either researching rabid rodent disease or trolling the forums. it's so annoying.

I had the neighbors get mad when my Sim tried to have a party at their house. I wished there was a way to say, "But the food is for you!"

@katrinasforest It is a really good trait to give couples who are not yet living with each other. This way they can go to each other's home, and doing things without causing their partner from getting upset, such as cleaning up, cooking meals, taking showers after....well you know woohoo. lol

As a seasoned sims 4 simmer, I am embarrassed I don't know the answer to this but how do you give a sim an "Always welcomed" trait? It's not something that is available in CAS?

It's a reward trait. It's not really expensive, something like 500 points maybe? It's usually the first trait I give some of my sims (the ones that like to cook, anyway).

@aaronrulz The Always Welcome trait is one that you have to purchase for your sim, it's not in CAS. It cost 500 in the Rewards Store.

My sims use the tv often, of course, I have rabid rodent fever and trolling teh forums modded out, so that could be why. But my sims do lots of things, too. When I have a home gym they'll go workout, or swim in the pool.
