Cooking items not available to cook!
I noticed today that my sim can no longer cook any of the canon foods lime mac and cheese etc they arent available and its greyed out undee cook when you go over the item it shows requirements and 0/1...

Sounds like you might have 'use fresh ingredients' checked. Just uncheck that and you can cook whatever you like.
Even with "use fresh ingredients" checked, you can still cook foods that you don't have the ingredients for (again, minus some that actually require the ingredients be in the fridge or your inventory).
