How's farming gonna work when winter comes around? Curious

I just build a very high clear roof for my lot by putting a 4 grid tall room, then copying it upstairs & repeat until I reach the
4th floor. I then delete the lower 3 floors. I put the round roof on top of the 4th floor, I delete the walls & select the clear roof swatch. I then raise the invisible floor as high as possible & stretch it as big as possible. Plus, I flatten the roof.
Using this technique, my sims has never had problems planting a garden regardless of the season, that is when it's not glitchy.
