Sims who have high knitting skill will get a focused moodlet when they cross-stitch.
Cross-stitching can also be done on rocking chairs with sim rocking while stitching.

Animal enthusiasts also get those special moodlets by interacting with cats and dogs.
This also happens with rodents in My First Pet stuff.
