I think it will not only depend on the house itself but also the greenery and not the least the backstory that comes with such a house :) I will place a palace in Old New Henford, which will probably look a bit weird, but I plan to make it blend in a tad more by replacing fences, plants etc. And then perhaps use a few build elements or colors from the neighboring lots. If it will look weird, I will grow used o it :)
