Cottage Living: Prep and Plans

So I have never put this much thought into a build but I was struggling so much I decided to give planning out a build a shot. I have such a strong vision for my spellcaster's cottage but for some reason I just couldn't start building it! I wanted a forest farm that is built on multiple layers akin to some of the farms found in Stardew Valley. So here is what I came up with so far (subject to change, of course) - I've put some of the Pinterest reference shots next to it to help me with the exterior as well.



I want the house to be really unkempt and old but the garden immaculate like more care has been taken for the outside and the house left to ruin. The inside is going to be so fun to do though!
