Cottage living is a great pack. You don't get career opportunities but you can earn money by farming. You can do errands for the locals to earn a bit on the side.
What I like about the pack:
- a new world: Henford on Bagley. It has 12 lots devided over 3 neighbourhoods. It is a green rural world with a little village. you can swim in the ocean, buy groceries at the village and get a 64x64 lot
- the animals: chickens, cows and llamas. Cows and llamas are tied to the shed while chickes can roam the neighborhood freely. They look really cute and are a lot of work
- the cross stitching: a new hobby for my sims with the option to stitch from reference. The pack also offers nice integration with nifty knitting. You can use llama wool to reduce the cost and you can knit animal clothing
- the simple living lot challenge: you actually need the ingredients to cook. No more magically filled fridge.
- furniture for historical or cottage builds
It has become one of my favorite packs
