Cow Plant

In the Sims 4, you have to eat the cake twice for the sim to die.
The first time gives them the "Drained" moodlet that lasts about 2 days without any discomfort relief. They'll be totally fine, just uncomfortable.
However, if they were to eat the cake again with the moodlet still active, they will die. Sims that are already in the yellow may automatically go toward the cowplant when on an active lot, though it can be canceled if you're playing the household.

Yup! Unless you want them to die that way--Cowplant ghosts are pretty neat since they have the power to kill plants when they're mad. LOL

I highly suggest your sims eat the cake. If you're bored and feeling mean, that is.

It's fun to experiment with the cowplant, don't shy away!

You can milk the cowplant in these 2 scenarios:
1. When your cowplant eats a sim but it doesn't kill them, it creates a drink with whatever mood that sim was in when eaten.
2. When a cowplant kills a sim it creates the Essence of Life, like a lifespan extending drink.

A way I found to get lots of essence drinks is to not let a Sim be your active Sim and let them autonomously be eaten. They don’t die when that happens and you get the essence. I had one of my Sims get up almost every morning and the first thing he did was run to the Cowplant and get eaten. I had tons of essences from that dude.

Don't eat the CAKE! Also, make sure to feed the Cow Plant at least twice a day, about every 12 Sim hours, or more often. You can safeguard your Sim family and those who traipse through your lot by building a simple fence around the plant with a gate so that the 'caretaker' can feed the plant. Although having a Cow Plant on your lot can be fun, and at times amusing, I found it terribly stressful. The Dad kept getting swallowed, even though he was the one caring for and playing with the beastie.

Your sim generally feeds the cow plant a wrapped meat, just don't eat the cake, the cake is a lie. >.<
Also a bit off topic here but drinking some of the essences can be quite funny.

OK so I just noticed it must hve swallowed my Male sim. Should I have the Female Sim (caretaker) milk him? Do they drink that then or what? LOL
