Things were going so well with this event until part 5. I was able to make the dish and sing songs but no matter what way I invite 3 people over, I don't get credit for it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Did you try starting a club gathering at your current lot?
He isn’t in a club but I can create one and see if that works. Thank you for the suggestion.
Could they perhaps be asleep, or at work or at school? If they are, they may not be able to come and so you don’t get credited for it.
I tried to do a social event and the next time a hangout. Both times the three sims came over but even after the sims left I never got credit. It was a good suggestion.
How did you sing songs? My sim has level 3 piano and she sang all the available songs but nothing happened with the quest.
My sim used a guitar.
I had my sim use a guitar also. I was surprised it completely when he was just practicing.
I ended up having my sim simply practise the piano, and suddenly all the rest of the sims in the house became inspired, and that fulfilled the task. That task should be explained better because if it’s just from practising, the task description should say so.
I have a feeling that it wasn’t supposed to complete with just practicing.
Sorry for not replying to you directly before, but you might have seen my post about the "inviting 3 people problem". If you used mod, I hope that disable mod can help you pass this step.
You've probably already solved this, but in my case, I had to use the phone to invite individual Sims over - I couldn't do three in one go, so I had my Sims each invite one guest over. That worked.
